Refunds Policy - Race Entries
If for whatever reason an entrant can no longer participate in an event and would like to request a refund, that entrant should kindly make said request personally and in writing by emailing info@kzntrailrunning.co.za. And then, refunds will be granted in voucher format, as follows:
60+ = 90% voucher
30 – 60 days before the event = 50% refund
0 – 30 days before the event = No refund
In the case that an event is postponed or cancelled, please note that a direct transfer to another event will be free of charge. KZNTR Credit vouchers are also available but will incur a 10% admin fee.
Refunds Policy - Accommodation

Refunds Policy - Anniversary Special
The Anniversary Special includes both race entries and accommodation. For refund purposes, the total ticket fee is split as follows:
- R6090 is allocated to the chalet accommodation.
- The remaining amount is for the race entries.
Refunds will be processed in voucher format based on the following proportional breakdown:
- 60+ days before the event: 90% voucher for race entries, 60% voucher for accommodation.
- 30 – 60 days before the event: 50% voucher for both race entries and accommodation.
- 0 – 30 days before the event: No refund.
If the event is postponed or cancelled, you may transfer your ticket to another event free of charge, or opt for a KZNTR Credit voucher (subject to a 10% admin fee).
Substitutions Policy
Please note that substitutions are applicable to an administration fee of R50 (6 km and 10 km) or R100 (20 km and 40 km) per substitute. Substitutions will close a week before the event commences. For a substitution to be made, both parties must contact KZNTR on info@kzntrailrunning.co.za. Transfers of original entries to substitutes will only be made once the substitution fee has been paid.
